A Treasured Wife and Beloved Mother

M. Teresa ("Terrie") O'Reilly passed away on Thursday, June 15, 2017. She was 90 years of age. Terrie had been born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on May 4, 1927 to Charles F. and Marguerite Kappler. She graduated from Little Flower Catholic High School for Girls in Philadelphia.

Terrie married Francis A. O'Reilly, Jr., in Philadelphia on September 18, 1948 and they were blissfully married for 56 years. She devoted herself to being a highly successfully homemaker and mother, raising two children.

M. Teresa ("Terrie") O'Reilly passed away on Thursday, June 15, 2017. She was 90 years of age. Terrie had been born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on May 4, 1927 to Charles F. and Marguerite Kappler. She graduated from Little Flower Catholic High School for Girls in Philadelphia.

Terrie married Francis A. O'Reilly, Jr., in Philadelphia on September 18, 1948 and they were blissfully married for 56 years. She devoted herself to being a highly successfully homemaker and mother, raising two children.

M. Teresa O'Reilly had a number of hobbies, including sewing and golf. She was a member of Oak Terrace and North Hills country clubs in Pennsylvania; and Glen Lakes Golf and Country Club in Weeki Wachee, Florida. She had the enviable distinction of making a Hole-in-One. Terrie was also a Roman Catholic Eucharistic Minister and volunteered for her Church, often making dresses for first-time Communicants. She enjoyed working with the nuns at Saint Joseph's Villa in Flourtown, Pennsylvania.

Terrie O'Reilly is survived by her son, Francis A. O'Reilly, III of Fredericksburg, Virginia; and daughter, Sharyn P. Petillo, of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. She is also remembered by her grandchildren, John (Jay) Petillo and Michelle Kean; and her great-grandchildren, John (Jack) Petillo, and William and Megan Kean. Terrie is preceded in death by her loving husband, Francis A. O'Reilly, Jr. She will be buried with her husband in the Florida National Cemetery at Bushnell, Florida.

The family of M. Teresa O'Reilly would like to thank everyone who knew and loved our mother. She was a special gift who touched so many lives. She was a gifted, talented, and beautiful lady. She taught us the true meaning of love and commitment. We encourage you to join us as we celebrate her life in every day.
